Ohio High School Basketball - Piketon fells Northwest
December 6, 2023: McDermott, OH 45652 Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), 48-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Piketon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Redstreaks host Adena (Frankfort, OH) to play the Warriors in a Scioto Valley bout on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Adena won 68-19 in their recent non-league bout against Glenwood (New Boston, OH)
Next up, the Mohawks play the South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Jeeps go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 55-44 non-league loss to North Adams (Seaman, OH).
