The Universal Stars basketball squad (Bridgeview, IL), was crushed 69-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting MCC Crescents (Morton Grove, IL)

With the victory, MCC advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Crescents travel to Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Hinsdale, IL) to meet the Hurricanes in a Metro Prep battle on Monday, December 9. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Hinsdale Adventist Academy lost 75-40 in their recent non-league battle against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL)

The Stars now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southland College Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, December 9. Universal will meet a squad coming off a 76-41 non-league win over Corliss (Chicago, IL). The record now stands at 2-1.
