The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Western Boone Stars to 48 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a Sagamore game on Friday, December 13. Tri-West Hendricks will confront a Hot Dogs team coming off a 57-25 non-league loss to Western (Russiaville, IN). The Hot Dogs record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Western Boone falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Stars host Covington (Covington, IN) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-4. Covington lost 57-54 in their recent non-league game against Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN)
