The Southwest Virginia Academy Conquerors (Roanoke, VA) basketball nipped the host North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 42-41 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Conquerors (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Tornadoes go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record.
