Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Sammamish RedHawks (Bellevue, WA), 75-67 in a league match.

With the victory, Mercer Island advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Islanders host Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA) to face the Kangaroos in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Kangaroos enter the match with a record of 2-1. Lake Washington won 84-70 in their recent non-league match against Bothell/Inglemoor (Bothell, WA)
