Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), 32-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tri-Point upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Tri-Valley lost 72-28 in their recent league bout against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)
