North Carolina High School Basketball - New Bern knocked off by West Craven

The West Craven Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting New Bern Bears to 50 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Havelock for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. West Craven will battle a Rams team coming off a 68-48 non-league win over Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, West Carteret was defeated by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 80-57, in a non-league contest.
