North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus trounces South Rowan

December 1, 2023: China Grove, NC 28023

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 70-23 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Hickory Ridge walloped Concord (Concord, NC), 88-16, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont test on Tuesday, December 5. South Rowan will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 50-29 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
