In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Morrill Lions basketball team scored a big 67-34 win over the Hay Springs Hawks.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Garden County was trounced by Kimball (Kimball, NE), 68-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Hay Springs will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
