Indiana High School Basketball - Anderson overwhelmed by Mt. Vernon

December 10, 2024: Fortville, IN 46040

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) basketball squad trounced the visiting Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), by a score of 48-19.

Next, the Marauders encounter the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage test, on Saturday, December 14. Mt. Vernon will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 44-34 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).

The Indians (0-9) will now prepare for their test against Purdue Polytechnic (Indianapolis, IN). The Techies come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Purdue Polytechnic bounced Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN), 72-17, in a non-league test.
