The Mt. Vernon Marauders basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Richmond Red Devils to 31 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Marauders now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pendleton Heights for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Mt. Vernon will confront a Arabians team coming off a 67-25 non-league win over Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Arabians record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Richmond falls to 11-12 on the campaign.
