River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), 78-52 in a league match.

With the victory, River Ridge advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Knights host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to face the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 6 match on Friday, December 13. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-4. Lassiter lost 76-28 in their recent league match against Creekview (Canton, GA)

The Chiefs now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pope for a AAAAA Region 6 match on Friday, December 13. Sequoyah will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 38-33 league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-2.
