Georgia High School Basketball - Sequoyah routs Riverwood

December 6, 2024: Canton, GA 30115

In Friday's league contest, the host Sequoyah Chiefs basketball team scored a big 73-33 triumph over the Riverwood Raiders.

The Chiefs (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights go into the AAAAA Region 6 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, River Ridge smashed Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 62-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Riverwood will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 69-54 non-league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA).
