The San Simon Longhorns basketball squad (San Simon, AZ), was outscored 68-56 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ)

With the victory, Ray advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Flames in a 1A East battle on Friday, December 12. The Flames enter the battle with a record of 6-2. Valley Lutheran won 34-32 in their recent league battle against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ)
