In Thursday's league contest, the host Fairfax Stampede basketball team scored a big 78-43 triumph over the Alhambra Lions.

The Stampede (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A Metro contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Metro Tech was trounced by North (Phoenix, AZ), 66-45, in a league contest.
