The Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) basketball edged the visiting North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ), 71-65 in Monday's league test.

Next, the Stampede encounter the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 3. Fairfax will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
