Virginia High School Basketball - Evergreen Christian overwhelms National Christian Academy
December 12, 2023: Leesburg, VA 20175 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting National Christian Academy Eagles (Fort Washington, MD), saw Evergreen Christian's basketball squad wallop National Christian Academy by a tally of 112-44.
With the victory, Evergreen Christian improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD) to confront the Warriors in a Metro Private challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 13-0. Mt. Zion Prep Academy won 67-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD) in a Metro Private challenge, on Thursday, December 14. National Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 81-74 non-league win over Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC).
