The Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA) basketball nipped the host Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA), 67-60 in Monday's league test.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their test against New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD). The go into the Metro Private test with a 3-3 record.

The Hawks now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anne's-Belfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Highland will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 92-70 non-league loss to Moravian Prep (Hudson, NC). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
