In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Garinger Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 67-37 triumph over the East Mecklenburg Eagles.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern match, on Friday, December 15. Garinger will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 50-48 league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
