Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Union City routs Iroquois

In Thursday's league contest, the host Union City Bears basketball team scored a big 69-6 triumph over the Iroquois Braves.

The Bears (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats go into the District 10 Region 3 contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Northwestern smashed Warren (Warren, PA), 52-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Braves battle the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Iroquois will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 59-16 non-league loss to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
