Ohio High School Basketball - Elgin fells Cardington-Lincoln
December 13, 2021: Marion, OH 43302 Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH), 60-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Comets host East Knox (Howard, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 23. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-0. East Knox won 43-32 in their recent league bout against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH)
Next up, the Pirates play the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a Knox Morrow bout, on Friday, December 17. Cardington-Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Freddies go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 43-32 league loss to East Knox (Howard, OH).
