The Elgin Comets basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Mt. Gilead Indians to 44 in the Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Comets now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple Christian for a Northwest Central contest on Friday, February 11.

The Indians (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lucas (Lucas, OH). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record.
