The Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) basketball nipped the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), 58-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lancers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Komets go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Kearny was tipped by El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 62-57, in a non-league test.
