Minnesota High School Basketball - Lake City tops Stewartville
December 13, 2022: Lake City, MN 55041 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) and the visiting Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN), saw Lake City's basketball squad knock off Stewartville by a count of 71-52.
With the victory, Lake City upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Tigers play the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a AAA Section 1 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Stewartville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Komets come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 70-47 non-league win over Pine Island (Pine Island, MN).
