In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 119-9.

The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Hopewell was trounced by Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC), 64-22, in a league outing.
