Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springfield holds off Strath Haven

December 13, 2024: Wallingford, PA 19086

The Springfield Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Strath Haven Panthers to 45 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Penncrest for a Central game on Tuesday, December 17. Springfield will confront a Lions team coming off a 55-26 league win over Harriton (Rosemont, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Strath Haven falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Radnor (Radnor, PA) to confront the Raptors in a Central game on Tuesday, December 17. The Raptors go into the game with a record of 1-1. Radnor lost 68-55 in their recent non-league game against Henderson (West Chester, PA)
