Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR), 50-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Piggott advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Mohawks travel to Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR) to face the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 3 match on Monday, December 16. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 6-11. Marmaduke lost 52-47 in their recent league match against Corning (Corning, AR)

The Warriors now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Island Central for a 2A Region 3 match on Tuesday, December 17.
