The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 53-31 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Alamance for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17.

With the loss, Scotland falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Fighting scots travel to Wilson (Florence, SC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14.
