The Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 62-33 in Friday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, Lee County falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to play the Bucks in a 3A/4A Sandhills bout on Tuesday, December 10.
