Oklahoma High School Basketball - Ringling ripped by Velma-Alma
December 14, 2023: Velma, OK 73491 The Velma-Alma Comets basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ringling Blue Devils to 15 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.
The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Velma-Alma will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 79-60 league win over Lexington (Lexington, OK). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-0.
The Blue Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Velma-Alma (Velma, OK). The Comets enter the Oilfield contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Velma-Alma triumphed over Ringling (Ringling, OK), 62-15, in a league contest.
