South Pointe Griffins (Phoenix, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bella Vista College Preparatory School Bears (Scottsdale, AZ), 70-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Pointe upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Golden Hawks come into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Bears play the Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Bella Vista College Preparatory School will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
