The Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) basketball nipped the host Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD), 63-58 in Friday's league test.

The Lightning (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Milford Mill Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Millers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Milford Mill Academy was tipped by Overlea (Baltimore, MD), 67-60, in a league test.
