December 15, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28226 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw Charlotte Catholic's basketball squad hold off Rocky River by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Charlotte Catholic improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Charlotte Country Day School won 87-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Ravens play the Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Rocky River will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
