The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) basketball nipped the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), 73-67 in Friday's league test.

The Greyhounds (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Mount Tabor got by R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 77-42, in a league test.
