The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Potomac School Panthers to 47 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John's for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. St. Andrew's Episcopal will battle a Cadets team coming off a 88-58 non-league win over Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 6-1.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Barons enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge ran past Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA), 85-39, in a non-league contest.
