Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) and the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), saw Sidwell Friends's basketball squad overcome Potomac School by a tally of 61-44.

With the victory, Sidwell Friends improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Gaels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Panthers confront the St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Potomac School will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record.
