The Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) basketball nipped the host Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS), 60-58 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Walnut (Walnut, MS). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Walnut got by Mantachie (Mantachie, MS), 64-52, in a non-league test.
