Iowa High School Basketball - Lewis Central routs Atlantic
December 15, 2023: Atlantic, IA 50022 In Friday's league outing, the Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), by a margin of 59-27.
The Titans (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gretna East (Gretna, NE). The Griffins go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Gretna East was trounced by Marian (Omaha, NE), 52-42, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Hawkeye Ten outing on Tuesday, December 19. Atlantic will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 61-38 league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.
