Iowa High School Basketball - Glenwood holds off Atlantic
January 2, 2024: Atlantic, IA 50022 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) and the host Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), saw Glenwood's basketball squad hold off Atlantic by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, Glenwood improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Shenandoah lost 53-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Friday, January 5. Atlantic will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA).
