Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Master's Academy Lions (Forest City, NC) and the visiting Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC), saw The Master's Academy's basketball squad wallop Challenger by a count of 53-27.

With the victory, The Master's Academy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC) to play the Raptors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Raptors come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Lake Lure Classical Academy lost 51-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC)

Next up, the Firebirds play the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) in a Western Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Challenger will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
