December 16, 2022: Kansas City, KS 66101 The Atchison Phoenix (Atchison, KS) basketball felled the host Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS), 74-59 in Friday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Scots go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Highland Park thwarted Wyandotte (Kansas City, KS), 95-42, in a non-league test.
The Sabres now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Harmon for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3.
