The Cheraw Braves basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Buford Yellowjackets to 50 in the Braves league victory on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central for a AA Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Cheraw will battle a Knights team coming off a 67-46 league win over York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

The Yellowjackets (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against McBee (McBee, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, McBee was defeated by Central (Pageland, SC), 77-49, in a non-league contest.
