South Carolina High School Basketball - North Central fells Cheraw

January 27, 2023: Cheraw, SC 29520

North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), 74-60 in a league bout.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to play the Volunteers in a AA Region 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Volunteers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Andrew Jackson won 64-43 in their recent league bout against Buford (Lancaster, SC)

Next up, the Braves play the Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cheraw will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 49-40 league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).
