Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) and the visiting White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA), saw Port Allen's basketball squad wallop White Castle by a count of 71-40.

With the victory, Port Allen upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Pelicans host North Central (Lebeau, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. North Central lost 58-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA)
