The East Burke Cavaliers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Maiden Blue Devils to 28 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bandys for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. East Burke will battle a Trojans team coming off a 32-25 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.

The Blue Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
