In Saturday's league match, the host River Valley Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 51-29 triumph over the Highland Fighting Scots.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) in a non-league match, on Sunday, December 17. River Valley will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 36-23 non-league win over Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH).
