The Pleasant Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting River Valley Vikings to 43 in the Spartans league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Fork for a Mid-Ohio contest on Friday, December 8.

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marion Harding (Marion, OH). The Presidents come into the Mid-Ohio contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Marion Harding was nudged by Highland (Marengo, OH), 29-27, in a league contest.
