Rhode Island High School Basketball - East Providence bests Westerly
December 16, 2024: East Providence, RI 02914 The East Providence Townies basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Westerly Bulldogs to 54 in the Townies league triumph on Monday.
The Townies now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Mt. Pleasant for a Division 1 game on Thursday, December 19. East Providence will confront a Kilties team coming off a 73-67 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Kilties record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Westerly falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to confront the Avengers in a Division 2 game on Thursday, December 19.
