With the victory, Belleville West upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Maroons host East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to face the Flyers in a Southwestern match on Thursday, December 19. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 2-7. East St. Louis lost 70-43 in their recent non-league match against Hazelwood Central (Florissant, MO)
The Comanches now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a South Seven match on Tuesday, December 17. Cahokia will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-34 non-league win over Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.
