The Tri-Valley Vikings basketball team (Downs, IL), was nudged 61-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL)

The Maroons now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeview for a non-league battle on Monday, December 26.

The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record.
